The Challenge

At Corinthia Palace, we reimagined the guestrooms of the brand’s first hotel, balancing its historic legacy with contemporary luxury. This project was our tribute to a heritage icon, carefully renewing its spirit for a new generation of travellers.

We retained and refined architectural details—arched portals, decorative corbels, fluted references—while layering them with a soft palette inspired by the surrounding gardens. Sage greens, seeded glass, and natural textures create a seamless connection between interior and landscape. By merging two typical guestrooms into one-bedroom suites, we redefined spatial flow, adding walk-in closets, generous bathrooms, and curated amenities that elevate guest comfort and functionality.

The Results

Our collaboration with Maltese artisans ensured the preservation and reinvention of original pieces: wardrobes, wingback chairs, and cabinetry were refurbished, celebrating craftsmanship while reducing waste. Bespoke touches, from custom-seeded glass lamps to marble finishes, infuse character and originality into each room.

This renovation is our vision of timeless hospitality—sensitive to place, sustainable in practice, and emotionally resonant for guests. Corinthia Palace remains not just a historic property, but a living retreat where heritage and modern luxury coexist in harmony.
