The Challenge

At the top of the Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria, DesignEQ has shaped three signature suites into a story of elegance, culture, and memory. Together spanning 850 sqm, these sanctuaries weave local heritage, craftsmanship, and natural inspiration into the fabric of contemporary luxury.

Each suite unfolds as a chapter: the Grand Gallery Suite, a stage for timeless grandeur where classic architecture meets quiet refinement; the Brontë Penthouse, a moody, literary escape layered with the romance of ink, books, and Victorian reverie; and the Skyline Penthouse, a serene garden in the sky where natural tones and botanical patterns harmonize with panoramic views of Brussels.

Designed within the hotel’s historic envelope, the suites honour Corinthia’s ethos—luxury not through excess, but through depth and cultural resonance. Marble inlays, silk wallcoverings, carved panels, and curated art pieces by international and local creators enrich the interiors, while thoughtful touches of colour evoke magentas, deep blues, and sage greens drawn from the city’s history and landscapes.

Together, the three suites embody a dialogue between past and present, heritage and imagination—an elevated retreat for discerning guests seeking stories as much as comfort.
