AlphaList is a simple utility that will allow you to select a Finder window from a list of windows displayed in alphabetical order.

The Windows menu in the Finder lists all your windows, but by the order in which they were opened, which is generally not useful in finding a particular window in the list. If you want to open a specific window, it is often easier to find that window in an alphabetic list. AlphaList displays your open Finder windows this way.

AlphaList is really only useful in versions of the Mac OS prior to Leopard, since Apple finally alphabetized the window list in Leopard.
